Don’t miss Romeo and Juliet: Nov 29th to Dec 8th
Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare
What if Romeo was a Roberta?
What if Elizabethan England had been more open?
What happens when Shakespeare gets a sex change?
Join us as Theatre Anon and East West Theatre present Romeo & Juliet, the classic tale of “two star-crossed lovers”. It’s your old favourite with one major twist – the entire cast is female.
From 29th November, women take the stage and all rules are broken. Watch Juliet fight to choose her husband. See Romeo and his lusty chums brawling by day, chasing skirts by night – and all played by actresses. Experience the play’s iconic characters recast for a modern, more open age.
