A pre-Christmas treat for actors: Method Acting Workshop with Blaz Rotovnik
Method Acting Workshop series with Blaz Rotovnik
LEE STRASBERG METHOD, STANISLAVSKI SYSTEM
Suitable for all who want to learn more about Method acting: professional actors, amateurs and new beginners.
Method acting is the best way to become a good, credible actor. The main difference in regards to other principles is realism and the creation of the character, not an imitation of it. Blaz Rotovnik will teach the orthodox Strasberg Method, including Strasberg’s exercises and principles, plus some extra exercises developed by the Vajevec brothers throughout their years of practice.
The Vajevec brothers (Janez and Andrej) studied under Strasberg in the 70′s, and have been running their Actors Studio for 35 years. Blaz Rotovnik has worked with them for 13 years, and will use his theoretical and practical knowledge to teach you how to enter the creative process and retain it during acting work, how to extend awareness, how to improve acting, and how to solve other acting problems like stage fear or lack of expressiveness.

Time: 5pm – 8pm (or 6pm – 9pm if that suits more participants) on December 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd.
